About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Admissions Unit RN to join our fast-paced team in Gainesville, FL. This is a full-time position where you will play a vital role in ensuring that patients receive high-quality, patient-centered care during their initial hospital admission phase. Available Shifts:

• Days: Rotating weekends
• Nights: Rotating weekends

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor patient conditions during admission and each scheduled shift, promptly reporting any changes.
• Perform procedures and functions as ordered by medical providers, documenting care administration thoroughly.
• Administer prescribed medications, monitor therapeutic responses, and take appropriate action if adverse reactions occur.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers about medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care.

Qualifications:

• Experience: At least 1 year of acute care RN experience.
• Licensure: Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse.
• Education: Graduate from an accredited school of Nursing.
• Certifications: Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required within 30 days of employment start date.
