Maximum Compensation: Up to $155,000

Responsibilities:

• Strategic Leadership: Drive service excellence, growth, and development initiatives within the Emergency Department.
• Problem-Solving: Identify and address real or potential issues affecting service delivery, implementing effective solutions.
• Team Development: Coach and mentor immediate subordinates, fostering individual development and performance excellence.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory, accrediting, and hospital policies for patient services and safety.
• Quality Assurance: Develop and implement processes to monitor and evaluate the quality of emergency care.
• Collaborative Communication: Effectively communicate departmental and organizational information to staff, promoting engagement and alignment.
• Talent Acquisition: Support the recruitment process to attract and retain top talent for the department.
• Other Duties: Perform additional responsibilities as assigned, contributing to the overall success of the department and hospital.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in nursing required; Master's degree preferred in Nursing, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in emergency services, with 3 years of leadership experience preferred.
• Licensure: Current registered professional nurse license in the state of practice, with ACLS, PALS or ENPC, and BLS certifications required.
• Visionary Leadership: Proven ability to lead and inspire teams toward achieving organizational goals and objectives.

Additional Information:

• Ideal Candidate Profile: ED Director experience required, along with a BSN.
• Reporting Structure: Directly reports to the Chief Nursing Officer.
• Team Management: Oversee 5 managers and multiple facilities, ensuring consistent quality of care.
• Facility Details: Main ER is Level 2 Trauma with 44 beds, serving 160-190K patients annually, with additional FSEDs.
