Position Title: Med/Surg/Telemetry Float Pool RN
Location: Asheville, NC
Compensation:

• Salary Range: $30.00 - $44.50/hour
• Differentials: 2nd Shift: $4/hr, 3rd Shift: $6/hr, Weekend: $3.50/hr (Stackable)
• Extra $5/hr float pool premium once off orientation (8-12 weeks)
• Sign-On/Relocation: Case by case

Shift Details:

• Full-time Nights: 7 PM to 7 AM

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Med/Surg/Telemetry Float Pool RN to join our team. You will provide leadership and facilitate the delivery of professional nursing care for patients' comfort and well-being. This role involves floating between 12 medical surgical units, 6 progressive care units, and 5 intensive care units, with opportunities for advancement to Progressive Care and Critical Care areas after nine months.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the patient and family advocate, protecting privacy and confidentiality.
• Facilitate patient care by making nursing assessments and diagnoses.
• Provide plan-based care with a commitment to continuous improvement.
• Implement medically prescribed interventions.
• Utilize the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide, delegate, supervise, and document care and teaching of patients and family.

Job Requirements:

• Associates or Bachelors in Nursing required (Master’s in Nursing preferred).
• Must have and maintain current licensure as a registered nurse with the North Carolina Board of Nursing (eNLC license may apply).
• BLS Healthcare Provider required.
• National Certification in area of specialty preferred.
• Two years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an Acute Care (hospital) environment required (candidates with one year solid experience will be considered).
