Point of Care Coordinator

Overview: Join our team as a Point of Care Coordinator, where you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and quality of our point-of-care testing operations. This position involves working closely with various departments to maintain high standards of laboratory testing and compliance with regulatory guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and review proficiency testing samples.
• Develop corrective action plans for quality assurance issues.
• Maintain and complete all required documentation related to quality assurance and point-of-care testing records.
• Monitor accreditation statuses and assist in preparing necessary licensing and renewal paperwork (CAP, CLIA, AHCA, etc.).
• Prepare annual assessments for Quality Control, Quality Assurance, and Regulatory compliance.
• Participate in the selection and implementation of point-of-care testing equipment to support facility needs.

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of experience in a clinical laboratory setting with a focus on quality assurance and/or point-of-care testing.
• An Associate Degree in a related field is required; a Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology is preferred.
• Possession of or ability to obtain a State of Florida Technologist License during the interview process.
• A State of Florida Supervisor's License is preferred.

Salary Range: $30.34 - Mid: $36.41 (3 years of experience) - Max: $38.83 (8 years of experience)
