Position Title: Medical Surgical Float Pool RN
Location: Gainesville, FL
Compensation:

• Flat Rate: $43/hour regardless of years of experience
• Shift Differentials: $4.25 for nights, $3 for weekends
• Sign-On Bonus: $20,000
• Relocation Assistance: Case by case

Shift Details:

• Days: 7 AM - 7 PM (Rotating weekends)
• Nights: 7 PM - 7 AM (Rotating weekends)
• 3 12-hour shifts per week

Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic Float Pool RN to join our team. You will be part of a phenomenal team that works hard to support each other while providing excellent care to our patients in a collaborative manner. This role offers the unique ability to “float” between several different areas across the nursing spectrum.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the patient and family advocate, protecting privacy and confidentiality.
• Facilitate patient care by making nursing assessments and diagnoses.
• Provide plan-based care with a commitment to continuous improvement.

Job Requirements:

• 1 year of recent (within the last 2 years) Med-Surg acute care RN experience required.
• Flexibility to float to multiple units.
• Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state of practice. Must have State of Florida license or appropriate compact licensure. If Florida is not the primary state on the multi-state license, must establish Florida as primary within 90 days of hire or residency.
• Graduation from an accredited school of Nursing.
• Nursing experience in an acute care hospital setting preferred.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• AHCA Level 2 background screen and fingerprinting required.
