Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Cardiac Care

Location: Kansas City, MO

Compensation:

• Hourly Rate: $30.04 - $41.50/hour (Based on Experience)
• Shift Differentials: $4/Nights & $4/Weekends
• Sign-On Bonus: $30K (Nights Only, 2-Year Commitment) or $12K (Days Only)
• Relocation: Available on a Case-by-Case Basis

About the Role:

We are seeking passionate and skilled Cardiac Care RNs to join our team. This role provides an exciting opportunity to care for patients recovering from complex cardiac procedures in a supportive, fast-paced environment. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional care, using advanced resources to make a meaningful impact on patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Comprehensive Cardiac Care: Provide high-quality care to patients recovering from open-heart surgeries, heart catheterizations, stent placements, ablations, pacemaker/AICD placements, and other cardiovascular procedures.
• Patient Coordination: Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans, ensuring compliance with hospital policies and nursing standards.
• Critical Thinking: Apply problem-solving skills and clinical judgment to monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary.
• Effective Communication: Maintain clear and compassionate communication with patients, families, and team members to ensure continuity and quality of care.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 1 year in acute care, specifically in Cardiac Care or a similar specialty.
• Education: Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Licensure: Current RN license in Missouri.
• Certifications: BLS required at hire; ACLS required within 6 months.
• Skills: Strong computer, communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
