Registered Nurse - Intensive Care Unit (Full-Time, Night Shift)

Join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) as a dedicated Registered Nurse. This full-time, night shift (7p-7a) position offers the opportunity to work in a 16-bed ICU, providing exceptional care to critically ill patients.

Essential Duties:

• Deliver high-quality patient care in line with hospital and department objectives.
• Prescribe, delegate, and coordinate nursing care for assigned patients, ensuring all performance, practice, and care standards are met.
• Assess and reassess patient conditions, initiate care plans, and start discharge planning upon admission.
• Maintain and apply current nursing standards and clinical competencies, including National Patient Safety Goals, and use critical thinking skills to prioritize and solve problems.
• Meet the needs of patients and families using effective communication skills.
• Accept accountability for completing assignments, demonstrate reliability and dependability, and use time and materials cost-effectively.
• Continue self-development, provide leadership, and actively participate in Performance Improvement Activities, directing others as needed.
• Reflect HCA values and ethical principles in daily activities.

Qualifications:

• Acute Care or Critical Care experience strongly preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Georgia RN licensure or compact license.
• Current CPR certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire.
• Certification in a specialty area is preferred.
