Position: Business Analyst

Overview:

The Business Analyst is curious about organizational workflows and seeks to understand the reasoning behind job processes. They find creative solutions that enhance final products, ensuring stakeholder satisfaction. Combining roles of Business Analyst and Configuration Analyst, they employ both modern and traditional techniques to gather requirements and document software lifecycle needs. They must confidently interact with clients and senior team members across various sectors.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with external customers and internal engineers to analyze needs and deliver artifacts like Requirements Documents and Specs.
• Serve as the expert in requirements elicitation, analysis, management, and communication.
• Understand the client's current state and vision to identify business needs and define appropriate solutions.
• Manage multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously.
• Act as a conduit between the customer and the development team to ensure project success.
• Represent Daltics positively and interact effectively with diverse groups, including staff and clients.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience as a Business or Systems Analyst.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
• Extensive experience in documenting software requirements and methodologies.
• Excellent analytical skills to interpret business needs and translate them into technical requirements.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact with diverse customer groups.
• Proficiency in creating process documentation, such as swim-lane diagrams.
• Ability to manage multiple activities and engage with clients and senior staff across various sectors.
• Preferred experience with Case Management or Professional and Occupational licensure software.
• Knowledge of relational database terminology, modeling, and design techniques.
• Experience in facilitating formal JAD sessions or other requirements discovery workgroups.
• Skilled at aligning project objectives with organizational strategic goals and eliciting stakeholders' true needs.
• Preferred experience with professional and occupational licensing boards/commissions
