National Finance Director - Job Description

Dan Goldman for New York is seeking a full-time National Finance Director in New York’s 10th Congressional District to manage the Congressman’s robust national finance program. The role is based in New York City and will require in-person and hybrid work, as well as national travel and occasional international travel. The Finance Director is tasked with developing and executing our finance strategy in close collaboration with our finance consultants. They will report to the Senior Campaign Advisor and work closely with the candidate to hit our quarterly fundraising goals. The salary range for this role is $75,000 - $95,000, commensurate with experience.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Plan and oversee the execution of the finance strategy
• Manage and oversee the activities of finance consultants 
• Plan fundraising events, including identifying potential hosts, providing host support, and follow up
• Staff candidate call time, including keeping detailed notes and pledge chasing
• Prepare briefing documents
• Complete necessary follow up
• Staff candidate at in-person events and meetings

Requirements:

• Two or three cycles of campaign finance experience
• At least one cycle in senior finance role or as finance director
• Prior experience managing candidate call time
• Expertise with NGP, Google Suite, ActBlue
