HR Generalist – Employee Engagement 

Dan Newlin Injury Attorneys is seeking an experienced HR Generalist with a strong focus on employee engagement to join our dynamic team. The HR Generalist will play a pivotal role in enhancing the employee experience, fostering a positive work environment, and driving initiatives that promote engagement, satisfaction, and retention. This role requires a proactive, strategic thinker who is passionate about creating a culture where employees feel valued and connected to the firm's mission and goals. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Employee Engagement Strategy: Develop and implement comprehensive employee engagement strategies and programs that align with the firm's values and objectives. 
  • Culture Building: Promote and sustain a positive work culture through various initiatives, events, and activities that foster a sense of community and belonging among employees. 
  • Communication: Facilitate effective communication between employees and management, ensuring transparency and responsiveness to employee needs and concerns. 
  • Feedback Systems: Design and manage feedback mechanisms, including surveys, focus groups, and suggestion programs, to gather insights and address employee concerns. 
  • Recognition Programs: Develop and oversee employee recognition programs to acknowledge and reward high performance and contributions. 
  • Onboarding: Enhance the onboarding process to ensure new hires are well-integrated into the firm’s culture and understand their roles and expectations. 
  • Professional Development: Collaborate with the the Leadership team to create opportunities for employee growth and career advancement. 
  • Diversity and Inclusion: Support and promote diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives to cultivate a diverse and inclusive workplace. 
  • Employee Relations: Assist in resolving employee relations issues with a focus on maintaining a positive work environment and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. 
  • Wellness Programs: Implement and manage employee wellness programs that promote physical, mental, and emotional well-being. 
  • HR Metrics: Monitor and analyze HR metrics to measure the effectiveness of engagement initiatives and make data-driven recommendations for improvement. 
  • Events Coordination: Plan and execute employee events, such as town halls, team-building activities, and firm-wide celebrations. 
  • Policy Development: Contribute to the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures that support engagement and overall employee satisfaction. 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. 
  • 3-5 years of experience in an HR Generalist role with a focus on employee engagement. 
  • Strong understanding of HR practices, policies, and employment laws. 
  • Proven track record of designing and implementing successful employee engagement initiatives. 
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization. 
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills. 
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion. 
  • Proficient in HRIS and other HR-related software.
