Role Description: Serves as oversight on multiple programs, ensuring the RMF process is being following and documented by Team personnel.
Daily Work / Activities
o Understands the RMF (Risk Management Framework) process that is mandated by DIA (Defense Intelligence Agency) and Cyber Security.
o Able to adapt when then the process changes.
o Must be able to apply the process to individual projects as appropriate.
o Knowledgeable of ICD (Intelligence Community Directive) 503, FISMA (Federal Information Security Management Act), OMB (Office of Management and Budget), NIST (National Institute of Standards & Technology), and DoD and its application in order to ensure NMEC is in compliance.
o Enters Project information in the DIA Xacta system for progress tracking.
o Ensures Project information is entered in a timely fashion.
o Enters Project information in the RMF SharePoint site, developed by DAn Solutions.
o Ensures Project information updates are entered in a timely fashion, at least once per week.
o Ensures RMF system processes are being followed by all personnel.
o Must be able to work with the Team and external NMEC Team players to ensure the process is moving forward.
o Must be able to engage collaboratively with DAn Management Team (PM, DPM, ISSO Manager) and DCRM Leadership to ensure team is updated and aware of progress or issues.
o Must be able to assist in the removal of barriers to ensure process is moving forward.
o Monitors POAMs and ensures their mitigation, after the ATO or IATT is awarded.
o Ensures the timely start-up of the next RMF effort to keep the program status updated.
o Provides status briefs for DAn Management Team and DCRM Leadership.
o On an as needed / ad hoc basis, as requested.
o Participates in RMF weekly meetings where status briefs are provided.
o Participates in numerous weekly Project meetings to gather status and provide updates.
o Provides written WARs (Weekly Activity Reports) to DPM.
