Job Duties And Responsibilities
- Oversee the customer service activities for all NA plants.
- Oversee the order entry and sales operations activities for all plants and support of the Sales teams for Light Vehicle (LV) and Heavy Duty (HD).
- Manage “House Accounts” for day to day support and processing.
- Run analysis for supply or customer disruption to provide ELT with supply disruption and cost impact to make strategic decisions
- Prepare annual reviews with direct reports
- Prepare goals and objectives of department
- Broad knowledge of the LV & HD industry concepts, practices and procedures.
- Extensive knowledge of the set up of MRP operating systems
- Oversee set up of customer set ups/EDI in plant LRP systems
- Communicate with customers on orders and work through issues as they arise
- Troubleshoot issues as it relates to customer requirements and orders
- Communicate with plant personnel as it relates to customer requirements and orders
- Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Completes a variety of complicated tasks.
- A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
- Bachelor’s degree highly preferred, additional experience may be considered
- 7 or more years of experience in the Automotive Field
- Ability to learn and understand MRP (SAP), EDI and logistic systems
- Ability to manage people
- Team player
- Good communication skills – written and verbal
- Good organizational skills
- Good time management skills
- Computer skills required (Microsoft Office Applications, e-mail, Internet)
- Basic math skills
- Excellent problem solving skills
