As a Senior Electrical Engineer in Upstream and Fluid Management Research and Development, you’ll focus on electrical product design, development, Verification & Validation (V&V), and post launch product sustainment including complaint resolution, which require building relationships across functions and maintaining open communication across departments. You’ll solve problems, reduce risk, and possibly develop intellectual property for bioprocess equipment and sterile consumables for the biopharmaceutical industry. You’ll engage with internal teams and external partners/suppliers, through design, development, and sustainment, functioning as a Subject Matter Expert in electrical engineering.

What you’ll do:

• Work on the electrical design, product requirements, development, and integration for bioprocess equipment, ensuring performance and reliability throughout the product lifecycle.

• Perform analysis, simulation, troubleshooting, and testing of electrical designs; fabricate prototypes; design and execute development processes, reliability test suites, and regulatory compliance test strategies, while maintaining electrical documentation in line with regulatory requirements.

• Effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams, departments, and external suppliers, to proactively develop and troubleshoot hardware and automation issues, define product requirements, and integrate hardware designs into overall system architecture.

• Perform analysis, simulation, troubleshooting, general testing, and formal verification & validation of electrical hardware designs to ensure performance, reliability, and manufacturability.

• Take ownership of electrical architectures, product requirements, component selection, electrical design, and PCB layouts.

Who you are:

• Bachelor’s degree in, Electrical Engineering, or related field

• 5 years relevant professional experience in electrical design and development.

• Capable of doing Component selection based on requirements.Background in PLC programming (Siemens, Rockwell and/or Beckhoff)

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Experience with control panel design UL508A and Bluetooth wireless RF preferred.
