SUMMARY
The Business Analyst (BA) team is part of the Project Management Office (PMO) within IT.At a high level, the Business Analyst serves as the bridge of communication between business stakeholders and IT staff. The BA is responsible for facilitating discussions among the business users to understand the current business process and their need for change.The BA must then accurately document and communicate this need to the IT staff to design a solution that will ensure all stakeholder expectations are met.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
·Elicit business requirements.
·Create/Maintain Business Requirements Documents (BRD).
·Facilitate 3-Amigo review of requirements (BA/DEV/QA).
·Secure Approval/sign-off for BRD.
·Support the development and testing of deliverables.
·Develop User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Plan; Review and confirm plan with business stakeholder(s).
·Facilitate UAT; share results.
·Secure UAT approval/signoff.
·Develop Go-Live Plan (when needed).
·Develop training materials; train the trainers (when needed).
·Complete post go-live validation; enter bugs when necessary.
·Develop an understanding of the end users’ current business processes; document the existing process; revise at conclusion of project to the new current state; link documentation within the Business Process Catalog. (In accordance with assignments and per their area of focus).
·Provide updates on status of assignments (progress, milestones, issues).
·Support and mentor team members.
·Adhere to PMO processes.
oProject Prioritization.
oDocumentation Standards (templates, meeting minutes, OneNote, etc.).
oTFS/Time Tracking.
oProject Change Requests.
·Adhere to IT processes.
oEnvironment Calendar.
oChange Control.
oSecurity.
·Participate in Release Management meetings (when applicable).
·Troubleshoot and collaborate on solutions for production issues which are assigned to BA queues within Service Desk; escalate as necessary.

Fulltime position (40 hours a week), Overtime, Weekends, Holidays, Trainings as required.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers.

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram formats.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Post hire certifications may be required to gain knowledge needed to stay current in field.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, use hands and fingers, reach with arms, talk and hear.The employee will frequently be required to stoop, kneel and crouch.The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is seated in a cubicle environment and is exposed to fluorescent lighting, background noise, and computer monitors.
