Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Child Care Director to oversee the operations of our child care facility. The ideal candidate will have a passion for educating and nurturing young children, along with the ability to lead a team effectively.
Duties:
- Develop and implement programs that align with educational standards and promote the intellectual, social, and physical development of children.
- Supervise and support staff members in their roles, providing guidance and training as needed.
- Maintain a safe and stimulating environment for children, ensuring compliance with all licensing regulations.
- Collaborate with parents to address any concerns or questions regarding their child's development and well-being.
- Manage the budget for the child care facility, including expenses related to staffing, supplies, and equipment.
- Oversee enrollment procedures, including conducting tours for prospective families and processing admissions.
Requirements:
- Minimum: Associates degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
- Previous experience working with young children in an educational setting.
- Knowledge of education administration practices and regulations.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire staff members.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to interact effectively with children, parents, and staff.
- Current CPR and First Aid certifications.
