Qualifications and Skills:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a facilities maintenance or technician role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on experience with maintaining and troubleshooting equipment, with a focus on process improvement.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Electrical troubleshooting experience. This includes electrical and/or mechanical fault diagnosis using tools like a multimeter to systematically test and identify equipment issues (short circuits, open circuits, incorrect voltage levels, or faulty components).
• Mechanical troubleshooting experience, including root cause analysis to identify equipment issues, such as abnormal sounds.
• Ability to maintain and service equipment on the facility floor, such as air compressors, augers, batch plant equipment, solenoids, valves, etc.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate with colleagues across different departments.
• Adaptable and proactive in addressing challenges and opportunities on the production floor.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Assist in the setup, maintenance, and repair of factory equipment and facilities to ensure efficient operations.
• Enhance industrial hygiene and lead efforts to maintain a clean, orderly facility and eliminate debris and foreign objects from the production area.
• Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment to minimize downtime and maintain optimal performance.
• Support the implementation of new equipment and processes, ensuring they are integrated smoothly into existing operations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues quickly and effectively to minimize impact on production.
• Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities, including repair logs and preventive maintenance schedules.
• Collaborate with the engineering and operations teams to identify opportunities for process improvements.
• Collaborate with engineering to develop and maintain troubleshooting documentation.
• Contribute to a culture of safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement within the facility.
