Dardanelle Public Schools is Hiring a K-6 ALE Teacher Near Dardanelle, AR
Beginning the 2024-2025 School Year.
Qualifications
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and current Arkansas Teaching License in Elementray K-6 and or have met the required score on the Praxis 5511 Content Knowledge.
- Knowledge and experience with adolescent behavior issues.
- Experience working with at risk students and or experience working in an Alternative Learning Program is preferred.
- Provide academic and behavioral intervention services for students that have been placed in the alternative learning environment.
- Provide supportive and positive classroom environments that are conducive to student learning.
- Maintain an orderly and safe classroom environment.
- Teach district approved curriculum and maintain accurate records.
- Implement student's IEPs and/or 504s accordingly
- Be responsible for student supervision at all times during assigned classes or duty.
- Adapt and modify instruction and intervention based on students emotional, behavioral, academic and social status
- Attending and interacting in staff and parent meetings to provide helpful recommendations or voice concerns.
- Implement classroom rules and safety regulations and ensure all students understand them.
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians about student progress
- Evaluate the learning process for all students and adjust instruction as needed to ensure student success.
- Follow procedures in personnel policy handbook.
