Job Description
This is a remote position.
- Represent clients in all aspects of immigration law, including visas, green cards, citizenship, and deportation defense
- Prepare and file complex legal documents, such as petitions, applications, appeals, and waivers
- Conduct legal research and stay up-to-date on changes in immigration laws and regulations
- Develop effective legal strategies to achieve clients' desired outcomes
- Provide clear and concise legal advice to clients in a compassionate and understanding manner
- Communicate effectively with clients, government agencies, and opposing counsel
- Manage a caseload effectively and meet all deadlines
- Thrive in a fast-paced and demanding environment
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- License to practice law in the state of GA or any state (or ability to obtain one)
- Minimum 4 years of experience in immigration law
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Proficient in legal research and writing
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Compassion and understanding for the challenges faced by immigrants
- Fluency in Foreign Language (a plus)
