Job Title: Certified Medical Biller

Compensation: $18-$25 per hour (based on experience and certifications) 

In-Office, 8AM – 4:30PM, M-F, Full-time (40hrs)

Reports to: COO

Responsibilities:

- Follow compliance guidelines in regards to relevant regulations and standards

- Maintain confidentiality of patient information( HIPPA )

- Review the accuracy of billing data and fix any errors for past and future billing

- Follow up on aging unpaid claims and resubmit to insurance companies

- Patient communication regarding billing and insurance matters including copays and deductibles

- Maintain confidentiality of patient information

 You must have the following qualifications and/or experience:

- Proficiency in medical terminology, ICD-10, CPT and HCPCS coding systems (Required)

- Experience in medical billing, collections, and MS Office (At least 1 year Required)

- Familiarity with EHR Systems and Medical Records / notes

- Attention to detail and a problem solver

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Strong understanding of billing process for primary care and wellness, medical terminology and coding
