Every year our Supply Chain (SC) team ensures successful delivery of over 9 billion pounds of milk from our farms to our 11 plants across the Pacific Northwest. Once our milk is processed into items such as cheese; cultured and on the go convenience products; as well as beverages, our SC team ensures successful delivery to consumers 365 days a year. We have a great opportunity for a logistics professional to join our Bulk Milk Transportation team has a Sr. Transportation Planner. In this role you will be responsible for scheduling the shipment of raw milk supply from our farms, and by product milk commodities to our plants and 3rd party customers. You will play a key role in ensuring successful movement of our core product by partnering with our third-party carriers in order to execute pickup and delivery on time and in full. This role will report to the Supply Chain Manager and work closely with our Farmer Co-Op group, our 11 different manufacturing plants, customers manufacturing plants, and 3rd party carriers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties as assigned):
· Monitor and manage shipment activities in support of route guide execution of sales to customers
· Work closely with internal stakeholders to facilitate execution to support OTIF
· Attend ITP meetings to secure necessary capacity for surges and other network changes
· Report on OTIF and other service metrics to stakeholder groups
· Plans and executes spot bid awards and tenders
· Plans and execute shipments for route guide exceptions
· Lead service provider scorecard reviews to increase operational performance
· Add approved accessorial charges to shipment records in TMS
· Monitor and manage service provider tracking events in TMS
· Assist in continuous improvement effort to optimize TMS routing guide
· Provides leadership and direction to junior members of the team
· Lead root cause investigations and corrective action plans for service providers
· Assist in investigations to reconcile monthly/quarterly AOP financial results
· Ensure compliance with company, legal, food safety and other regulations

Education, Experience and Certifications:
· Compensation range: $71,382-$107,073 (individual wage based on previous experience, knowledge, and skills)
· Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution or equivalent experience in Supply Chain or equivalent in years of experience in related transportation or supply chain
· Strong proven business acumen
· Proficient with MS Office suite and other related software
· Previous TMS experience desired but not required
