Job Summary

The Field Representative position interacts with new and current customers to help with retention and growth.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

• Visit idle accounts within plant service footprint in order to assess viability and determine action plan working in conjunction with sales and operations teams.
• Assist in service route optimization by identifying areas for potential backfill with new customer acquisition, working with sales and operations teams to operationalize plans.
• Inspection of UCO overflows and or spills in order to determine whether instance arose from inefficient routing, theft, or customer misuse.
• Reviews daily service anomalies from route diver notes, providing follow-up actions and resolution plans as appropriate.

• Enhances and supports sales staff's accomplishments by providing support necessary to maintain or grow the business.

• Assists with aspects of equipment installation including the site survey, ensuring installation is done properly and training customers on use of equipment.
• Understands product values, equipment types and be able to justify equipment by location.
• Analyzes restaurants' need while ensuring company success.
• Providing support to customers and resolving any issues as they arise.

• Reads and understands contract language along with knowledge of local ordinances
• All other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Minimum of one year of sales experience to corporate and large franchise operators in the restaurant or food service industry
• Valid driver's license

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in related field preferred
• 2 years of sales experience preferred
• Ability to learn new programs
• Strong communication skills
• Works well in team environment
• Oracle CRM, Microsoft Office Suite experience

Physical Demands

• Frequently required to sit, reach with hands and arms.
• Occasionally walk, stand, balance, stoop, bend and kneel.
• Occasionally must push, pull, move or lift to 50 lbs.
• Regularly requited to reach with hands and arms.

Work Environment

Job functions will be carried out in customer locations, office environment, vehicle and plant locations.
