Job Overview:

We are seeking an enthusiastic Activity Assistant to join our team in providing engaging and fulfilling activities for our residents in a memory care community.

Responsibilities:

- Assist in organizing events, outings, and programs to enhance residents' physical and emotional well-being
- Lead and support residents during activities, providing guidance and assistance as needed
- Maintain documentation of resident participation and progress

Skills:

- Experience or knowledge in long-term care, assisted living, memory care, aging issues, senior care, nursing home environments
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with residents, families, and staff
- Ability to provide caregiving support and recreational therapy to seniors
- Empathy and patience when working with older adults

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week
