The Department of Emergency Medicine is seeking an experienced Advanced Practitioner (APRN or PA) to provide diagnostic evaluation and management of acute medical complaints for children and adults, presenting to the DHMC Emergency Department, or at one of the community hospitals within Dartmouth Health.
Primary responsibilities for all assigned patients include ordering diagnostic testing, obtaining consultations, performing procedures within the advanced practitioner’s scope of practice, prescribing medications, directing the administration of medications by nursing staff, and ensuring an appropriate disposition plan.
Shift hours are rotating to include evenings and overnights with a preference for filling a nocturnist role.
