Dartmouth Partners are working with one of the worlds most reputable Private Equity funds, to assist them in searching for a Financial Controller to oversee a new area of the fund.

This individual will join this newly formed team, based out of their New York office, and work closely with this newly formed fund structure.

Role will include:

• Ensure accurate and timely recording and reporting of all transactions
• Conduct thorough review of fund and SPV accounting data, financial statements and investor capital accounts statements
• Work closely with external auditors to ensure efficient and timely completion of all audits in accordance with reporting deadlines
• Actively participate in development of new processes
• Manage and review work of external administrator
• Liaise with multiple departments internally to business partner, alongside working on cross-border and firm wide global projects
• managing governance related tasks including board and executive management coordination
• Assist in preparation for SEC reporting requirements
• Report directly to VP in Fund Control team
• Ideally understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance within the US Financial industry related to the private equity space

Candidates will ideally have between 4-6 years of experience, ideally with training from a top 10 Audit firm.
