Responsibilities:
- Creation and review of project scope statements.
- Lead the planning and implementation of complex technical projects
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
- Manage project teams, assigning tasks and ensuring project milestones are achieved
- Monitor project progress, manage risks, and implement mitigation strategies
- Serve as a technical liaison between project teams and stakeholders, translating technical requirements and ensuring alignment
- Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders and senior management
- Ensure projects adhere to company project management standards and methodologies
- Facilitate and lead project meetings, workshops, and presentations
- Conduct project evaluations and post-project reviews to identify areas for improvement
- Mentor and guide project managers and other team members, providing technical and project management expertise
- Other duties, as required
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, ITIL) are a plus
- PMP certification is required. It must be obtained during employment if not already completed
- 10 years of experience in technical project management, preferably in a technology company, with experience leading Enterprise datacenter migrations and complex technology projects
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, data center operations, network architecture, cloud computing, and related technologies
- Proven track record of managing complex technical projects on time and within budget
- Experience with Microsoft Office/Microsoft Project is required
- Advanced knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall)
- Strong technical background and understanding of software development, IT infrastructure, data center infrastructure, and systems integration
- Strong understanding of PMO Standards and Methodologies
