Minimum Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in either Electrical/Electronics, Engineering or Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering or Engineering Technology. Completed, relevant education from an accredited college or university may be substituted with years of relevant work experience. 1 year of education = 2 years of experience
Three (3) years of experience with electrical/electronic or mechanical engineering background
Good communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to work in and around Dassault Falcon aircraft (requires stooping, kneeling, and climbing ladders/scaffolds) with or without reasonable accommodation.
Proficient with MS Office Suites
Ability to read engineering drawings.
Additional Desired Qualifications
CATIA CAD systems experience
Familiar with CS-25 EASA certification basis
Familiar with DO-160, HALT, HASS testing of equipment
Understanding of DFJ processes and procedures
Knowledge of IT such as small computer Ethernet networking, computer programming and integration of peripheral equipment
Knowledge of troubleshooting aircraft systems
Proficient in at least one aircraft system
Principal Duties/Responsibilities (essential Functions)
Maintain knowledge of general completion system principles
Continually develop ability to research and find appropriate guidance for design principles.
Continually develop knowledge of general certification requirements and regulations
Read customer specifications and determine work scope.
Develop complete system interface drawings per customer’s specification.
Check drawings for accuracy and ensure systems will work as desired.
Ensure specific systems conform to EASA regulations and can be approved on the aircraft.
Complete the required documentation to obtain design approval through both STC/MOD processes.
Troubleshooting aircraft systems with supervision
Assist in development of guidelines and standards for the department.
