Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned NetApp Storage Administrator to join our IT department. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience with NetApp storage systems and a strong background in managing and optimizing storage solutions for enterprise-level operations. This role involves ensuring business continuity through replication services, capacity planning, troubleshooting storage connectivity issues, and managing the storage environment to support our critical applications and business processes.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and implement enterprise infrastructure, including virtualization hypervisors and cloud architectures (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).

- Administer, configure, and support Linux & Unix servers and application deployments.

- Ensure high availability and performance tuning of Linux servers.

- Develop infrastructure monitoring and reporting tools.

- Maintain configuration management tools, utilizing Puppet/Chef etc.

- Conduct root cause analysis for major incidents and communicate findings to stakeholders.

- Develop system administration procedures, including system monitoring, maintenance, and backup/recovery.

- Perform DC DR drills and automate daily administrative tasks.

- Perform security audits and provide patch management reports.

- Collaborate with various teams and vendors to optimize system configuration.

Skills :

- Proven hands-on experience with NetApp storage administration, specifically in Cluster Mode.

Strong technical knowledge of NetApp storage products and data protection technologies.

Experience managing SAN environments with Brocade/CISCO fabric switches.

Familiarity with CIFS, SMB, NFS protocols, and understanding of VMWare and backup solutions.

Proficiency in scripting and automation to enhance operational efficiency.

Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to perform under pressure.

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Experience with additional storage vendors is a plus.

Relevant certifications in NetApp and VMware technologies
