What are the responsibilities and job description for the Scanner Operator position at Data Dimensions, LLC?
Schedule:
Mondays & Tuesdays: 7am-1pm Wednesdays-Fridays: 9am-3pm Saturdays: Rotational working 8:30am-2:30pm **Overtime may be scheduled based on production need and volume fluctuation **Schedule subject to change as the primary job scanned on this machine settles and more efficiencies are discovered
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for the operation and maintenance of the scanning equipment. This includes processing prepped documents onto scanner, and making appropriate adjustments.
Remove batches from scan tub and jog paper source for proper imaging feed prior to scanning.
Prior to scanning, select correct client job number within the software program by use of a mouse, keyboard or touchscreen.
Scan clients in priority order.
Scans paper documents to reproduce as digital copy to be stored on a secure server.
May scan paper or x-rays on rapid review imaging system.
After scanning, each hard copy batch of source will be bleeped into labeled box to prepared for short term storage.
Ensure work is put away during shift onto appropriate labeled shelves.
Keep accurate account of time spent on each client’s work, including time spent obtaining information, scanning, prepping, or other functions.
Troubleshooting technical difficulties and making appropriate adjustments.
Performs daily maintenance of scanner machine.
Reference work instructions as needed.
Required to attend mandatory meetings and trainings, work scheduled overtime with minimal notice, and perform other duties as assigned per business needs.
Qualification Requirements –
To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following:
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Able to read, write and speak English.
Able to maintain confidential information.
Successfully pass and maintain acceptable background checks and security clearances
Basic computer knowledge and Microsoft Suite experience.
Must be able to multitask.
Able to work independently and in a team environment.
