Production Specialist Role
Corteva Agriscience offers an exciting opportunity for a Production Specialist to join our commercial corn and soybean production facility at Woodhull, IL.
Job Overview:
This position involves performing various tasks associated with general plant operations and possible field activities throughout the year. You will be responsible for setting up and monitoring highly automated equipment for processes such as harvest, conditioning, treating, and packaging.
Main Responsibilities:
- Ensure product quality meets the requirements of Quality Plans
- Maintain availability of direct materials for process orders
- Contribute to managing bulk and bagged seed inventories and assist with product movement activities
- Train employees on job duties and equipment as assigned
- Support forward plans of oncoming shifts and coordinate workflow and resource allocation between shifts and departments
- Foster effective communication within and between shifts
Work Environment:
You will work in various areas (field, plant, warehouse) and be willing and able to work outdoors and indoors in different conditions.
