Data in Motion has a client looking for an AI/ML Lead at their Atlanta, GA office. The AI/ML Lead will have the responsibility of developing transformative AI/ML solutions to address our clients' business requirements and challenges

We are seeking applicants with relevant years of text mining experience for this position. It is anticipated that the Text Mining Scientist (TMS) will serve as a vital link between business and functional resources and enterprise database teams. In general, the TMS will use his or her problem-solving skills to convert the business demand of the customer into a techno-analytical issue and will collaborate with database teams in a suitable manner to implement large-scale text analysis solutions. The ideal applicant will have developed NLP and text mining solutions with open-source technologies in the past.

Responsibilities: 

• Provide innovative AI/ML solutions to meet the needs and difficulties of our clients' businesses.
• Project Delivery: This would include completing data-related projects successfully. Pre-processing, Model Assessment and Training, and Parameter Adjustment
• Control customer and stakeholder expectations
• Blueprinting and Documentation for Projects
• Making a Project Schedule
• Learn about and investigate state-of-the-art academic and industrial advancements in AI/ML with NLP/NLU applications in a variety of industries, including finance and CPG.
• Create, design, construct, and develop solution algorithms that, in a condensed amount of time, exhibit the bare minimum of functioning.
• Engage with clients to gather, compile, and suggest needs in order to develop a successful analytics/text mining plan.
• Collaborate with digital development teams to incorporate and convert these algorithms into apps of high production quality.
• Conduct practical research on a variety of machine learning and text analytics projects, submit patent applications, and publish the findings.

Preferred skills:

• Expert level of understanding of NLP, NLU and Machine learning/Deep learning methods
• OpenNLP, OpenCalais, StanfordNLP, GATE, UIMA, Lucene, NoSQL
• UI development paradigms that would enable Text Mining Insights Visualization, e.g., Adobe Flex Builder, HTML5, CSS3
• Linux, Windows, GPU Experience
• Spark, Scala for distributed computing
• Deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, Keras, Torch, Theano

Minimum qualifications: 

• MS in Computer Science, Information systems, or Computer engineering, Systems Engineering with relevant experience in Text Mining / Natural Language Processing (NLP) tools, Data sciences, Big Data and algorithms.
• Post-Graduation in MBA and Undergraduate degree in any engineering discipline, preferably Computer Science with relevant experience
• Full cycle experience desirable in atleast 1 Large Scale Text Mining/NLP project from creating a Business use case, Text Analytics assessment/roadmap, Technology & Analytic Solutioning, Implementation and Change Management, considerable experience in Hadoop including development in map-reduce framework
