Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled IT Technician II to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining server hardware, with a strong focus on ensuring data security and system reliability. As an IT Technician II, you will play a critical role in our operations, ensuring that our clients' server equipment is restored to optimal functionality while adhering to industry best practices and compliance standards.

IT Technician II - Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 3 years of experience as IT Server repair technician.
• Proven expertise in diagnosing and repairing hardware and software issues across various platforms including Windows and Linux.
• Build, configure, and test Dell, HPE, Supermicro and other brands servers according to project requirements.
• Perform thorough testing and quality assurance procedures to ensure server stability and reliability.
• Strong understanding of server hardware, operating systems and networking protocols.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues efficiently.
• Meticulous in server configurations, set-ups, and maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
• Can change rapidly and be able to quickly adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
• Capable of analyzing complex problems and identifying root causes to implement effective solutions.
• Maintain accurate documentation of server configurations, changes, and troubleshooting steps for future reference.
• Team player. Must be able to collaborate effectively with other techs to achieve common goals.
• Relevant certifications (A , Server , Network ) or equivalent experience.
• Install and configure server operating systems and software applications.
• Strong understanding of server hardware components and their configurations, including RAID arrays, storage systems, and networking equipment.
• Flexibility and adaptability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
• Physical ability to lift and move server equipment and perform cable management tasks.
• Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting network devices such as switches, routers, access points, etc. from vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, Arista, etc.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $26.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
