Position: Procurement Analyst

Duration: 12 Months (with high possibility of extension in FY) 

Location: Jackson MS(Hybird)

Job Description

Successful candidates will play a vital role in supporting the overall efficiency of MSDH's financial operations. To be successful as a public procurement professional, you should have the following skills and knowledge and be proficient in the following: Strong problem-solving skills. A commitment to ethical practice and personal integrity. An eagerness to serve, be challenged, and grow professionally. An ability to work collaboratively to find new solutions to community challenges.

Required Skills/Abilities:

*Knowledge of contract management

*Knowledge of procurement and purchasing laws

*Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative, team-based environment

*Advanced computer skills with Microsoft Office Suite and related program software

*Ability to coordinate and maintain relationships with cross-functional departments to ensure efficient operations.

*Excellent verbal and written communication skills and be able to effectively interact with administration, faculty, staff, and other outside contacts.
