• Patients on this unit are dealing with difficult diagnoses.
• Our ideal nursing candidate will have the proven ability to exercise patience, flexibility, and careful listening when their efforts are often tested.
• This nurse will strive to calm patients when they become agitated, strengthen patients coping skills, and make it a build a therapeutic, meaningful relationship.
• Evaluate and treat mental health needs of adult psych patients
• Collaborate with healthcare team members and physicians to develop care plans
• Support the personal care of geri-psych patient population
• Educate and support patients, their caregivers, and families
• Maintains confidentiality and dignity of patients
• Proven ability to exercise patience and understanding in high stress situations

Weekend Shift: (Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday)

You can choose your own days and hours

Shifts:

(7am to 7pm or 7pm to 7am)

Required:

Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited nursing program Active nursing license in the state of Arkansas or license with eNLC privilege

One (1) year of experience is a Registered Nurse

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $40.92 - $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

• Long term care

Standard shift:

• Day shift
• Night shift

Supplemental schedule:

• On call

Weekly schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
