Dave Carter and Associates is seeking a full time Pricing Analyst for our Indiana branch location

Dave Carter & Associates is a multi-line national distributor to multiple industries including manufactured housing, modular builders, recreational vehicles, commercial construction, cargo trailers and specialty vehicle industries.

Incorporated in September of 1978 as a distributor in the Southeastern United States, Dave Carter & Associates grew into a national distributor within the next five years. Currently Dave Carter & Associates has 11 distribution centers that serve all of the United States and Canada with our international division focusing on handling imports & exports. We are a leader and dominant supplier in the products we sell, with a large market share in most products to the aforementioned industries.

Position Summary

As a Pricing Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining our competitive edge and profitability. Your responsibilities will encompass the preparation of quotes, price file maintenance, and in-depth analysis of current pricing strategies to ensure invoice accuracy and margin optimization. You will also engage in comparative analysis of various pricing models.

Pricing Analyst Responsibilities

· Maintain price files and prepare quotes to support sales initiatives.

· Prepare worksheets for price file reviews and collaborate with the sales department to formulate and execute competitive pricing strategies.

· Create dynamic pricing tools that adapt effectively to market fluctuations and trends.

· Prepare and present comprehensive pricing analysis reports to both sales teams and senior management.

· Manage and keep up-to-date customer part number databases for accurate pricing.

Pricing Analyst Requirements

· Be 18 years old 

· Must be able to pass a background check and Pre-employment drug screen

· Must be authorized to work in the US

· A Bachelor's degree in Finance, or a related analytical field is required .

· A Master’s degree in Business Administration is considered a plus.

· At least 5 years of experience as a Pricing Analyst in a similar industry.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and complex formulas.

· Comprehensive understanding of statistical methods and data analysis techniques.

· Proven experience in developing pricing strategies in collaboration with Sales , Marketing and Procurement departments.

· Capability to stay updated on industry trends and to innovate dynamic pricing tools accordingly.

· Advanced proficiency in creating and presenting detailed pricing analysis reports.

· Exceptional analytical skills coupled with excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

60-75k plus discretionary bonuses
