Responsibilities

• A Landscape Designer is responsible for supporting the development of landscape projects during all project phases
• You will collaborate closely with the project design team to ensure successful project execution
• Assist in all project types, including single-family residential, multi-family, mixed-use, retail, commercial / office, and hospitality projects
• Collaborate with project teams to develop design concepts, ensuring technical feasibility and compliance with building codes, regulations, and standards
• Participate in coordination and communication with external consultants, contractors, and vendors
• Participate in project meetings, providing input, insights, and solutions to design and construction challenges
• Produce project deliverables using software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Lumion, Adobe Creative Suite) and hand graphics
• Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to enhance design efficiency and project delivery processes
• Become familiar with the agency submittal and review process, including Planning, Design Review, HOA, CCRs, Building, and others as applicable
• Assist in the coordination of site visits, including site analysis and documentation of existing site conditions
• Take notes on project changes during meetings to ensure project documentation is accurate
• Working collaboratively on a team under the management of senior staff and working independently
