BOX OFFICE SUPERVISOR
You'll never feel boxed in at our office! We are seeking people with charm, a sense of humor, and the motivation to serve our guests and box office team. People come from all over the world to visit our venues every single night and you (yes you!) will help them have a great time before the show even starts! If you are passionate about leading a team, and great at talking and interacting with people, then this is a shot you should take!
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
  • Provide excellent customer service, work with team on providing excellent customer service
  • Assist with development, training and coaching box office leads and agents
  • Communicate company goals to agents so each understands his or her role
  • Oversee conflict resolution between agents and customers
  • Hold box office agents responsible for adherence to company policy and procedure
  • Comply with company procedures to reprimand box office agents when needed for failure to adhere to company policy and procedure
  • Assist box office agents with all assigned duties such as order processing, providing information on the shows and venue to customers, updating customer records, and managing the flow of customer lines
  • Manage escalated customer inquiries and complaints - find fitting solution
  • Approve/deny refunds for issues that may arise
  • Manage seating allocations for the box office on a daily basis
  • Assist guests as needed on the counter with their reservations and questions
  • Conduct weekly quality control assessments on each agent to ensure they're meeting standards and goals
  • Uphold opening and closing procedures for the box office
  • Uphold payment handling policy and ensure all revenue is reported accurately
  • Drop all agent paperwork/backup in the blue box each day for delivery to the corporate office
  • Maintain technical knowledge of in-house ticketing system
  • Assist Box Office Manager with scheduling and time-keeping
  • Assist Box Office Manager with interviewing and recruiting new team members
  • Act as a Manager on Duty to other departments in lieu of their assigned manager/supervisor
  • Manage pre-printing process for busy shows
  • Detect fraud at box office and report any findings to management team
  • Ensure agents take their assigned breaks
  • Perform any and all box office agent duties when needed
  • Perform additional tasks and duties as assigned

  • Ability to build a rapport with box office team as well as customers
  • Multi-tasking and prioritization skills
  • Experience working in a high-pressure, high-volume environment
Qualifications
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION WE NEED YOU TO HAVE:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Extensive experience in customer service
  • 5 years of experience in a box office or ticketing position preferred
  • 1 years of experience leading a team of 20 people required
  • Experience working with electronic ticketing systems required
  • 1 years of ticket auditing experience required
  • 1 years using an HRIS or similar system for scheduling and time-keeping preferred
ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Work environment: In-person entertainment venue setting
  • Must be able to stand/walk throughout the work shift
  • Must be able to lift or move up to 25 pounds using proper lifting techniques
  • Specific vision abilities required due to viewing computer terminals and company data
  • Position requires repetitive use of
