Davidson Auto Group is Hiring an Auto Parts Counterperson - Watertown, NY Near Watertown, NY
- Assists all customers (retail and shop) in selecting parts in a friendly, professional and efficient manner.
- Answers phone calls, providing price quotes and other information.
- Provides a high level of service to internal and external customers.
- Pulls and fills orders from stock inventory which requires lifting of 50lbs and more.
- Makes sure all internal requests for parts are billed on service repair order.
- Minimum 3 years prior parts counter experience, preferred
- Ability to work independently and be self-motivated
- Persistent and competitive with a desire to work in a performance-based environment
- Professional appearance with a strong work ethic
- Flexible schedule (some evening and Saturdays required) & other duties may be assigned as needed
- Previous automotive dealership or aftermarket parts experience, required
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must have time management and organizational skills
- Must be Detail oriented
- Must have basic computer skills
- Must be a self-starter
- Ability to work independently and on a team
- Ability to lift and carry at least 50 pounds or more without assistance
- Must be able to climb stairs multiple times through out day
- Must be open to work an occasional Saturday to conduct inventory
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record, required
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- MVR & Background check required
