East Coast Construction Services is seeking candidates for the position of Project Estimator. This position is based in High Point, NC. East Coast Construction Services, LLC is experienced in the exacting requirements of pharmaceutical electrical construction; wood product processing; production and biofuels; and food-grade manufacturing. ECCS is at home on any new production facility, construction site, or work floor of a manufacturing plant. As the Project Estimator, you will: Forecast, receive, assess, and communicate intent to participate in bidding of electrical, instrumentation, and controls projects Effectively execute pre-bid requirements of projects Understand and interpret construction documents for each assigned project Coordinate with engineers, owners, contract managers, electrical suppliers, and other contractors in bid preparation Create detailed bids, estimates, and scope documents to suit various contractual methods Submit complete and final bids and estimates according to deadline Provide code interpretations and technical support to field personnel on an as-needed basis The Ideal Candidate will: Have 5 years of relevant experience Bachelor's Degree in Science, Engineering, or Construction Management from accredited institution Valid NC driver's license (required) Electrical License - State of NC Contractor Electrical Unlimited (preferred) Proficient with computers and technology (MicroSoft Office programs, Excel and Project and Accubid) Meet the physical requirements which include pulling, lifting materials/equipment over 25 and up to 40 pounds Ability to travel and stay regionally (NC, SC, VA) occasionally East Coast Construction Services offers a competitive compensation package including health insurance, retirement plan, paid vacation and holidays.
