Job Description
Our medical malpractice insurance defense law firm in Pittsburgh, PA, is seeking an Associate Attorney to become a part of our team! You will represent clients in legal proceedings, draw up legal documents and advise clients on legal transactions. You will have the opportunity to learn from senior members on legal issues and will provide legal counsel to clients. While the position is initially in-office during training and company acclimation, a hybrid schedule can be discussed with interested individuals that is based on productivity and experience.
Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in court or before government agencies
- Prepare and draft legal documents on behalf of clients
- Advise clients on business and legal transactions
- Negotiate settlements for legal disputes
- Comply with all legal standards and regulations
Qualifications:
- Completion of a Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school and successful completion of the PA Bar exam
- 1-5 years experience past an internship
- Familiarity with various legal documents
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to build rapport with clients
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must live in Pittsburgh or surrounding area
