SENIOR ACCOUNTANT
ABOUT THE COMPANY:
- Multi-site healthcare group in Pittsburgh, PA.
- The Senior Accountant will have high visibility and report directly to the Controller

OVERVIEW OF THE SENIOR ACCOUNTANT ROLE:
- Ensure accuracy in reports by preparing timely journal entries, monthly financial statements, and reconciliations
- Senior Accountant resolves discrepancies related to banking, intercompany accounting, other assets, receivables, payables, accruals, revenue and expenses
- Review revenue activity daily and compared to budget or historical trends
- The Senior Accountant will prepare audit files, schedules for year-end, and have an important role in all financial statement preparations
- Perform data requests related to ad-hoc reporting, audit, tax filings, and those required of leased communities
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR SENIOR ACCOUNTANT:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products
- The Senior Accountant must be able to work well with a team in a fast-paced environment
