DaVinci International Film Festival (DIFF), a prestigious annual event organized by the 501(c)3 non-profit DaVinci Film Society Inc., champions innovation and impactful storytelling in independent cinema worldwide. Honoring filmmakers and screenwriters with its Leo Awards, DIFF takes place annually at The Grove in Los Angeles, California. In 2025, the festival will be expanding its reach with new events at the Cannes Film Festival and a sports documentary competition in Vancouver, BC.

Role Description

DIFF (DaVinci International Film Festival) seeks a remote, contract Director of Marketing & Sponsorship to spearhead sponsorship acquisition and activation. This results-oriented role encompasses securing sponsorships, crafting proposals, managing communications, and overseeing on-site activations. You'll also develop and execute marketing strategies that elevate both DIFF and its valued sponsors/partners.

Qualifications

• Sponsorship Sales experience and skills
• Event Management skills
• Experience in sponsorship acquisition and activation
• Strong writing skills
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Attention to detail and organizational abilities
• Knowledge of the film industry and independent filmmaking
• Knowledge of the festival circuit (a plus)
• Ability to work independently and remotely
• Team player (DIFF is a film family)
• Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or related field is preferred
