Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Supervisor to join our team. The Clinical Supervisor will play a crucial role in overseeing the clinical operations of our facility, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to our clients. This position requires strong leadership skills, clinical expertise, and a passion for making a positive impact in the lives of individuals battling addiction.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Clinical Oversight: Provide clinical supervision and guidance to a team of counselors and therapists, ensuring adherence to best practices, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.

2. Treatment Planning: Collaborate with clinicians to develop individualized treatment plans for clients, incorporating assessments, evidence-based interventions, and client preferences.

3. Staff Development: Mentor and support staff through regular supervision, training, and professional development opportunities to enhance their clinical skills and effectiveness.

4. Quality Assurance: Monitor the quality of clinical services through regular audits, case reviews, and outcome evaluations, implementing improvements as needed to enhance client outcomes.

5. Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with other members of the interdisciplinary team, including medical professionals, case managers, and support staff, to ensure coordinated care and holistic treatment approaches.

6. Clinical Documentation: Oversee the timely and accurate completion of clinical documentation, including assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries, in compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.

7. Crisis Management: Provide clinical leadership and support during crises or emergencies, implementing appropriate interventions and ensuring the safety and well-being of clients and staff.

8. Community Engagement: Foster positive relationships with external stakeholders, including community organizations, referral sources, and regulatory agencies, to promote collaboration and support the mission of the facility.

Qualifications:

- Master’s degree or higher in counseling, social work, psychology, or a related field.

- Licensed or certified as a professional counselor, clinical social worker, or psychologist in the state of Pennsylvania.

- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in the field of substance abuse treatment, with previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.

- Strong knowledge of evidence-based practices in addiction treatment, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and trauma-informed care.

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.

- Proficiency in clinical assessment, treatment planning, and documentation, with attention to detail and accuracy.

- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality, ethical standards, and professional boundaries in all aspects of the role.

- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or on-call shifts as needed to support the needs of the facility and clients.

- Knowledge and use of ASAM
