Position Summary
The Financial Analyst (Oracle administration experience required) will provide financial planning and analysis as well as assist with the administration of the Essbase environments.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Typical responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Develop annual business plans for all offices.
- Perform activities associated with the firm’s financial analysis function, such as compiling financial and economic data.
- Develop forecasts and trend analyses on revenue, costs and other areas of the business.
- Compile and review the budgets for departments, taking into consideration actual performance, previous expenditures, and estimated expenses and income.
- Maintain accurate spending records and establish measures for budgetary control.
- Utilizing Oracle Cloud, prepare financial reports, financial budgets & forecasts and other reports requested by management.
- Assist with administration of Oracle Cloud and On-premises applications.
Qualifications/Position Requirements
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- Solid interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable managing large sets of data
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Good judgment and planning skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office including advanced knowledge of Excel.
- Ability to prioritize and meet conflicting deadlines
- Experience working with Oracle Cloud Planning application including knowledge of administrative functionality required
Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
- 2-4 years of public or private experience in a similar capacity.
Compensation
The expected base salary for this position ranges from $90,000 - $90,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, anticipated assignment, and, where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. Davis Polk offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.
