The Senior Analyst of Clinical Analytics, Home Modalities will work as part of a highly strategic and crucial team that supports DaVita’s home dialysis patients and field operations. This individual is a key member of the team that is responsible for all aspects of clinical reporting and statistical analysis. This role has three primary responsibilities: 1) Drive process from beginning to end to solve complex clinical problems using sophisticated statistical and logical analyses, 2) Produce all team’s clinical reporting, and 3) Ad hoc analyses as requested.
Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesThe Senior Analyst of Clinical Analytics must be able to work successfully with cross-functional teams and provide insights to executives across departments. The following duties and responsibilities generally reflect the expectations of this position but are not intended to be all inclusive:

• Work collaboratively with the Clinical Enterprise and IT teams to drive analytic projects from start to completion.
• Work collaboratively with data analysts, clinicians, and operators to identify opportunities to add value through advanced analytics.
• Integrate disparate data sets, conduct exploratory analysis, and produce actionable insights for clinical intervention and risk-based contracting.
• Help drive the development of next-generation reporting and business intelligence tools, working closely with internal IT teammates and external vendors.
• Design and implement predictive models to project patient outcomes dependent on demographic and clinical care variables.
• Storyboard, stress test, and articulate arguments to key decision-makers.
• Enhance data visualization capabilities to communicate findings from complex analyses.
• Serve as an in-house data expert and teach data science techniques to fellow teammates.
• Commit to continued professional growth and development as well as ensure and contribute to the growth and development of the team’s junior personnel.

Minimum Qualifications

• Advanced degree (Masters or higher) preferred in applied math, statistics, computer science, or related field
• Minimum two years of experience integrating disparate data sets and producing statistical analyses using SAS, SPSS, R, Angoss or other programs
• Experience in network data science, tree-based approaches, time series analysis, cluster analysis, and predictive model-building process.
• Experience in healthcare, specifically analyzing clinical data or medical claims
• Experience with SQL and managing relational databases for regular and ad hoc reporting
• Database maintenance including custom views and tables
• Experience with other programming languages, preferably Python

Salary/ Wage Range$56,500.00 - $83,000.00 / year
Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience and may fall outside of the range shown.
