Shift Schedule:

• Monday - Saturday with one day off during the week.
• 6:00am - 4:00pm (10 hour shifts)
• Overtime required based on business needs

Job Purpose and Overview

As a Shipper/Receiver, you will participate in the manufacturing warehouse activities related to receiving, storing, selecting, shipping, dispatching, and delivery of product to ensure effective and efficient warehouse operations and product transportation.

What Does It Take to be a Shipper/Receiver at Dawn Foods?

Below are the minimum qualifications to be a fit for this job.

• Safe operation of forklift,pallet jack, and hand jack with experience preferred
• Previous experience using a reach truck is required.
• Requires oral, written and communication skills
• Must be able to handle many diversified tasks at one time and correctly prioritize time
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide
• Computer skills helpful

What will you do as a Shipper/Receiverat Dawn Foods?

• Check delivery paperwork and unload ingredients and packaging from suppliers.
• Perform shipping/receiving process to comply with IFS Audits.
• Scan ingredients into SAP System and store in appropriate areas.
• Inform purchasing team of any discrepancies in delivery.
• Use hand- held scanner to track all ingredients and packaging in and out.
• Clean as you go, maintain cleanliness of area.
• Complies with all plant policies, procedures, and practices.
• Maintain cleanliness of entire warehouse and practice safe food handling procedures by learning and practicing American Institute of Baking (AIB) standards for warehouse sanitation.
• Correctly select; palletize and shrink wrap customer order preparing them for delivery.
• Use FIFO inventory usage. Rotate and replenish current stocks in its designated locations.
• Safely load trailers in an even and productive fashion.
