Job Purpose And OverviewThe Corporate Giving Program Coordinator will play a pivotal role in facilitating the execution of a comprehensive corporate giving program at Dawn Foods. Under the direction of the Chief People Officer, this role will coordinate, track, and communicate the various elements of the corporate giving initiatives across multiple regions, ensuring alignment with the company’s philanthropic strategy and objectives. This role is critical in promoting Dawn Foods' values of relationships, integrity, teamwork, and passion.
This is a hybrid opportunity in Jackson, MI (Candidate must be in Jackson or surrounding areas to be considered for this role), with up to 10% travel required.
What will you do as a Corporate Giving Coordinator at Dawn Foods? Corporate Giving Oversight
    • Oversee the implementation and execution of the corporate giving program in the US, Mexico, Canada, and Europe.
    • Determine and manage budgets for all locations in collaboration with the finance team.
    • Conduct thorough evaluations of grant and sponsorship requests, process grant agreements, and track payments.
    • Maintain detailed records and reports of funding allocations and program impact, ensuring transparency and accountability.
    • Other duties or assignments as needed.
    • Demonstrates the “Dawn Values” of Team Dawn and supports the Circle of Excellence.
Program Coordination
    • Host monthly calls with regional teams to ensure consistent communication, encourage collaboration, and address any issues.
    • Coordinate materials for check presentations, town halls, and other communication needs in partnership with the Communications Team.
    • Prepare and present updates on the corporate giving program for town halls and board meetings.
Grant Management System (GMS)
    • Maintain and modify the online grant management system.
    • Create and update grant and sponsorship applications annually.
    • Train new evaluators on using the GMS platform and stay updated on software capabilities through regular training sessions.
Regional Program Support
    • Support the corporate giving efforts in Mexico, Canada, and Europe by determining budgets, reviewing grant requests, and reporting progress.
    • Host monthly calls with point persons in each region to support their corporate giving activities.
Team Member Relief Fund
    • Act as the primary point of contact for the Team Member Relief Fund.
    • Monitor the fund portal, assess applications, and report on program progress.
    • Plan and execute internal fundraising campaigns in collaboration with the Communications Team.
Volunteer Time Off (VTO) Program
    • Serve as the primary contact for the VTO program, ensuring its policies and logistics are finalized and communicated.
    • Work with HR and legal to confirm program details and launch the initiative.
What Does It Take to be a Corporate Giving Coordinator at Dawn Foods?
  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Nonprofit Management, or a related field or 5 Years of experience in the administration of a nonprofit or corporate giving program can be used in lieu of a degree.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in program coordination, nonprofit management, or corporate social responsibility.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with grant management software
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Other duties or assignments as needed.
