We are a locally owned real estate company seeking an experienced accountant/business manager. You will be responsible for keeping financial records updated and organized, including accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring all accounts are reconciled correctly. You will work closely with the property management team and owners to facilitate timely and accurate financial reporting. Our ideal candidate will take pride in detailed bookkeeping work and contributing to the success of the company. Strong knowledge of QuickBooks is mandatory for this position.

Responsibilities:

• Process all accounts payable and receivable on a daily basis to ensure timeliness and accuracy.
• Manage all account reconciliation to ensure all transactions are accurate and accounted for.
• Print checks/Payroll, obtain signatures, and distribute as needed to facilitate all incoming and outgoing payments.
• Assist the team with various accounting and administrative tasks in addition to any other projects as assigned.

Requirements:

• At least 3 years experience is real estate or property accounting
• Must have QuickBooks experience and experience with real estate or property accounting is preferred.
• Associates/Bachelor's degree in business, accounting or finance preferred
• Experience in MS office products.
• Knowledge of (GAAP) Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
• Strong communication skills, organizational skills and attention to detail
