Daylight Studio LLC is Hiring a Photo Studios Assistant Near New York, NY
Job DescriptionNYC Photo | Video | Events | Fashion Shows | Production studios, in Hudson Yards and Flatiron locations.
We are currently seeking a highly organized individual with knowledge and working experience in photo/video equipment.
This is a Freelance 1099 position (to start) with the opportunity to come on to the team Full Time for the right candidate. Looking to start ASAP.

ONLY APPLY to this position if you have PHOTO Studio experience. You will not be considered if you do not have experience working in PHOTO STUDIOS, photo equipment knowledge.
Responsibilities:
Ensuring the studio spaces are well-maintained and client services in all aspects are upheld and consistent with Daylight Studios standards and culture.
Knowledge of still/motion equipment: grip, camera, lighting, etc.Breaking down and setting up the studios for the following day’s shoots.
Help to open and close up the studio/office each day. 7am - 8pm. 7 days and holidays.
Participate in the organization of events, Trade | Fashion Shows, castings, interviews, film shootings.
Maintain studio organization and cleanliness. Basic janitorial work around the complex.
Identifying and handling maintenance projects throughout the facility.
Paint the studio shoot walls, surfaces, CYC as required.
Assist in the daily return of props to their rightful location. Ensuring that sub-rented gear is picked up from and returned to the correct vendors.
Be readily available for the occasional supply run.
Requirements:
Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills with this ability to multi-task and anticipate the needs of others. Previous experience in a photo/video studio is a MUSTPositive attitude when met with unexpected challenges
Must be able to carry up to 75 lbs. for a short distance.
Self motivated; willingness to jump in and get your hands dirty and help out where needed
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Flexible hours.
