Position Purpose:
- Under the general supervision of the school administrator, the Special Education director oversees educational services for students identified as having a learning need or disability.
- Works in standard office and school building environments.
- Note: Also see the Summary of Physical, Sensory and Environmental Requirements Needed to Perform Essential Job Duties for this position.
- Certification/License:
- State of Ohio Certification relevant to position requirements.
- Motor Vehicle Operator's License or ability to provide own transportation.
- Must have satisfactory FBI/BCI background check.
- Bachelors from an accredited college or university in education discipline applicable to assignment.
- Masters Degree preferred.
- Successful prior teaching experience for the appropriate grade level preferred.
