tending skills. Responsibilities: *The bartender position is an hourly position with tipping at the discretion of our members. Typically 15-20% of sales. * - Prepare and serve alcoholic beverages for members and their guests . - Interact with members, take orders, and serve drinks. - Marketing the Club’s wine list by suggestive selling. - Upsell products when appropriate. Learning the dining room menus. - Preparing beverages for our service staff. - Operating and charging member accounts through the point-of-sale system. - Monitor inventory and restock bar supplies as needed. - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area. Requirements: - Candidates must be 21 years of age to mix alcohol in the state of Ohio. - Previous experience in bartending or in a related role. - Strong knowledge of mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks. - Excellent customer service skills. - Familiarity with sales techniques to promote drink specials or upsell menu items. - Understanding of food industry standards for serving beverages alongside meals. - Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, private club environment. - Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
